There is always a lot of work in the garden. But everyone wants it to take as little time as possible … well, or at least please. Aggregates will help to satisfy such desires by Stihl.
Stihl is one of the recognized world leaders in the production of chainsaws. Since 1926, it has pleased both forestry professionals and private users. The core principles that underlie all Stihl’s operations are quality, reliability, innovation and safety.
Stihl chainsaws are perfect for all your garden tasks. Among the novelties of 2011, it is worth mentioning separately the lightweight professional saw MS 241 C – M of the new generation with the M-Tronic electronic engine control system. It does not need to be adjusted – the microprocessor controls the ignition and mixture parameters, ensuring optimal engine operating conditions and high acceleration characteristics regardless of temperature, weather conditions, atmospheric pressure and dustiness of the air filter. The 2-MIX engine meets the latest environmental requirements and is more powerful, responsive and more fuel efficient than traditional two-stroke engines.
All elements are made with the expectation of minimizing the time required to prepare for work, ease and maximum ease of maintenance. The saw is equipped with a “captive” bar nut, a filter with five times longer service life and an economical Ematic chain lubrication system. For a private user, this saw will serve for more than a dozen years.
The set includes a Stihl Picco Super 3 full chisel saw chain with very high performance – another new addition from 2011.
If asked to list the typical work performed by a chain saw, then many will remember the “lying” logs and boards that have to be sawed right on the ground. In order not to reground the chain every time it touches the ground, and just for longer work, Stihl offers the latest, unparalleled in the world, low-profile carbide saw chain – Stihl Picco Duro. It stays sharp, even when cutting dirty or frozen wood, and lasts four times longer than its counterparts!

“German quality” is a common concept that has become a household name a long time ago. It is fully applicable to the Stihl technique. The range of the company includes a variety of tools for all occasions: Stihl implements its latest developments not only in chainsaws, but also in brushcutters, motorcycle scissors, combisystems, blowers, pressure washers and in other equipment and accessories. An important point is the convenient location of service centers and stores throughout the country: both before and after the purchase, the owner of the equipment will not have problems with finding spare parts, repairing, selecting consumables and accessories.
For those who are used to working hard and appreciate versatility, Stihl offers a very interesting device – a combi-system. Its idea is ingeniously simple: with just one unit, perform as many different works as possible on your personal plot. You can start with the purchase of the necessary base engine and the most up-to-date attachment, and then, over time, expand the system, spending money only on new attachments, but at the same time getting completely new units in terms of functionality. Thanks to the widest range of combi attachments, the possibilities are almost unlimited.
The Stihl combi system has five main advantages:
Extensibility. A wide range of attachments makes the system multifunctional.
Practicality. Thanks to the split boom, the unit takes up little space during storage and transportation.
Flexibility. Thanks to the quick-release coupling, the attachments are changed instantly and without the aid of a tool.
Power. Stihl offers several base engine options with different power ratings to match the best fit for any application.
Comfort. Start assist systems and electronic ignition allow the engine to start without any problems.
The heart of the combi system is, of course, the engine. At the moment, the range includes four options of different power – from 0.8 to 1.4 kW. The first is the KM 56 with a Stihl 2-MIX engine (two-stroke, purged, economical and environmentally friendly). It also features the Stihl ErgoStart quick and easy start system. The other three variants – KM 90, KM 100 and KM 130 – are Stihl 4-MIX engines of various powers. These are four-stroke engines running on an oil-gasoline mixture, which allows them to function normally in any position relative to the horizon, and allows the owner to forget about the need to replace the engine oil and control its level.
Stihl 4-MIX engines are equipped with an automatic starting decompression system, which significantly reduces the effort on the starter cord. The noise from the 4-MIX engine is much quieter, so people around you react to it much more calmly. Stihl also offers two handle options for different tasks. The rotary handle is the right choice for most jobs, especially for trimming bushes and cleaning surfaces. Ideal for working in confined spaces. All attachments can be used with the circular handle. The two-handed handle (handlebar) is an excellent option for mowing large areas. But not all attachments fit it.
After choosing the right engine with the right handle, it’s time to start choosing the combi-tool directly. For the spring-summer season, the following are especially relevant:
The brushcutter is a classic attachment. Often the entire system is presented as a “brushcutter” with extended capabilities.
Scissors (pruning shears) are useful for those who have hedges or bushes that need to be trimmed periodically. With the help of any of the Stihl systems, this is done very quickly, it turns out smoothly and beautifully, without much time and effort. Tall and wide plants can be processed thanks to the long bar separating the blades and the motor. Thanks to the 135-degree rotatable gearbox on the knife traverse, the knives can be tailored to the task at hand.
The Pole Pruner allows you to prune branches while standing on the ground. There is a special wearing system for him that saves forces and relieves stress from the back.
The tiller and soil cultivator are for those who love to grow something on their plot. They loosen sufficiently firm soil, greatly facilitating the process of preparing the beds, and helping to fight weeds.
Surface cleaning attachments are good for any season – a sweeping roller for wet dirt, a sweeping brush for removing any debris and snow, and an air blower to deal with anything that can be blown away. Its power is such that even adhering wet leaves from garden paths can be blown off without any problems.
A convenient bag for storing and carrying it serves as an excellent addition to the combisystem.
