The heart of the combi system is, of course, the engine. At the moment, the range includes four options of different power – from 0.8 to 1.4 kW. The first is the KM 56 with a Stihl 2-MIX engine (two-stroke, purged, economical and environmentally friendly). It also features the Stihl ErgoStart quick and easy start system. The other three variants – KM 90, KM 100 and KM 130 – are Stihl 4-MIX engines of various powers. These are four-stroke engines running on an oil-gasoline mixture, which allows them to function normally in any position relative to the horizon, and allows the owner to forget about the need to replace the engine oil and control its level.
Stihl 4-MIX engines are equipped with an automatic starting decompression system, which significantly reduces the effort on the starter cord. The noise from the 4-MIX engine is much quieter, so people around you react to it much more calmly. Stihl also offers two handle options for different tasks. The rotary handle is the right choice for most jobs, especially for trimming bushes and cleaning surfaces. Ideal for working in confined spaces. All attachments can be used with the circular handle. The two-handed handle (handlebar) is an excellent option for mowing large areas. But not all attachments fit it.
